Jill Jones is a business owner with over 10 years experience in sales and customer relations.

After receiving a degree in marketing management and accounting, Jill worked in the Public Information office at Muskingum Area Technical College taking on many tasks as the assistant to the Director of Public Information. She learned ad design and layout, wrote for the school newspaper, took photographs of students and events on campus and networked throughout the college community. Her outgoing personality helped her attain her first sales position for a local newspaper where she worked in the community. There she met monthly sales goals and developed rapport with her customers.

Her next challenge was in car sales. Jill enjoyed working with customers of all ages as she helped them find the best car to fit their needs and their budget. She had a passion for knowledge and learned the many facets of the vehicles she sold and brought a fresh face with a softer approach to car sales. Her customers continue to keep in contact with her after she has moved on from the car business.

In December of 2004, Jill entered into a partnership with her mother-in-law and became an owner of Jillian’s. Every day brings new faces to the store and new challenges.

Jill has a great relationship with high school girls and their mothers and enjoys helping them find the right dress for every occasion. Although she is capable of selling anything, her specialty is with a bridal customer. She is thorough in her approach of qualifying a customer and helps the bride feel at ease as she chooses the perfect dress for one of the biggest days of her life. She carefully chooses matching accessories to complete the customer’s look and helps her make the decisions that dress the entire bridal party.

Jill has volunteered her time with many local organizations. These include the American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Salvation Army, Genesis Healthcare, Helen Purcell Home and the Soroptimist Club.

She is currently on the committee for the Southeastern Ohio Prom, Bridal and Pageant Showcase and volunteers in the planning and organization of the Miss Southeastern Ohio and Miss Teen Southeastern Ohio and Ohio International pageants where she also helps the contestants as they prepare for competition. She has also volunteered with Home for the Holidays and other events in the area that benefit local organizations.

After moving to Muskingum County in 1994 to further her education, Jill has enjoyed living in the area and spending time with her family, friends, co-workers and new contacts she has met through Jillian’s. In her spare time she enjoys boating with friends in the summer and photography.
